Description

Post-natal reformer Pilates classes are specialized fitness sessions designed for new mothers, typically starting around 6-8 weeks after delivery (with medical clearance). The classes focus on addressing the specific physical changes and challenges that come with pregnancy and childbirth. Key aspects include rebuilding core strength, particularly targeting the deep abdominal muscles and pelvic floor that were stretched during pregnancy. The reformer's adjustable resistance makes it ideal for gradually progressing as strength returns. These sessions emphasize proper alignment and posture correction, which is crucial since new mothers often develop forward head posture and rounded shoulders from nursing and carrying babies. The classes also work on hip stability and glute activation, as these areas often become weak during pregnancy. Babies are welcome. Hands-on care provided for your babies while you workout. You may also choose to include your baby in your exercises. Either way, we aim to make you feel comfortable and supported. Level 1.5 - Beginner to Intermediate Grip socks are mandatory
